Our History and Evolution
Founded in 1917 by Issa Ibrahim Nabeel, who served as the Attorney General in Al-Salt, Jordan, our firm has a rich legacy of legal excellence. In 1952, Shafiq Issa Nabeel established Shafiq Nabeel Law Office in Amman, Jordan, with the goal of addressing the legal needs of both Jordanian and international business clients.
The firm’s commitment to providing comprehensive legal services was further strengthened when Tareq S. Nabeel joined in 1968, followed by Nivin S. Nabeel in 1983, and Tareef S. Nabeel in 1988. Together, they formed Nabeel Law Offices, which was later transformed into a Private (Civil) Shareholding Company in 2005. The firm’s capital was set at one million shares, with Advocate Tareef S. Nabeel holding a 10% stake and the remaining 90% comprised of bearer shares.
Headquartered in Amman, our firm prides itself on its dual-language capabilities, serving clients in both Arabic and English. With a team of highly experienced lawyers and legal consultants, Nabeel Law Offices offers a wide range of services including arbitration, advocacy, private client counseling, consultancy, and legal drafting. Our approach is not confined by narrow legal doctrines; instead, we are committed to delivering results that align with our clients’ diverse needs.
In 2012, we expanded our services to include The Legal Aid, an initiative dedicated to supporting the less fortunate and raising public awareness. Our mission is to provide hope, aid, and comfort to those in need, regardless of their circumstances.
The same year, we established Al Nabeel for Legal Transition, specializing in legal translation. We view translation as an art form that combines innovation with technical legal expertise, ensuring accuracy and clarity in every document.
In 2014, we launched The Franchise House, a resource dedicated to guiding clients through the franchise industry. Our objective is to equip prospective franchise owners with the necessary knowledge to make informed decisions and to offer continuous support throughout their franchise journey.

- Legal Advice and Consultation: We offer timely responses to client inquiries, with standard replies within 12-24 hours, or expedited responses within 8 working hours for urgent matters.
- Detailed Legal Studies: We prepare thorough legal analyses and recommendations aligned with client interests.
- Document Organization and Review: We assist in organizing and reviewing legal documents as requested by the client.
- Form Preparation: We develop and review various forms and documents used by the client.

- Regulatory Review: We assess the client’s legal standing with the Ministry of Labor, Social Security Department, and other official or national authorities.

- Exclusions: Our standard agreement does not cover actions to settle claims, legal proceedings, or representation in litigation. Separate agreements and fees apply for such services.
Attorney Independence
Our attorneys maintain full independence in providing legal opinions, adhering to confidentiality both during and after the term of the engagement. This commitment ensures unbiased and secure handling of client information.
Fees and Expenses
Clients are responsible for covering all fees and expenses incurred, including litigation costs, court fees, taxes, correspondence, and other relevant expenses as dictated by legal requirements or judicial rulings.
Legal Request Process
Legal matters should generally be presented at our office, although our attorneys may visit client locations if necessary. Requests for legal opinions can also be made via various communication channels. Clients and the firm will mutually agree on communication methods, with any changes becoming effective after seven days of notification.
Language of Communication
Clients may choose to communicate in either Arabic or English.
Primary Attorneys
Advocate Tareef S. Nabeel and Mrs. Faten Abboud serve as the primary attorneys responsible for client matters. To ensure optimal representation and efficiency, they may delegate tasks to other associates or paralegals as appropriate, while maintaining oversight and responsibility for the quality of service.
